I am really considering replacing my exhaust after I install the PROcede. What size are you getting Dan? 3”? Stainless? Cost? Have you already “improved” your ECU? (So many questions) My only concern with a new exhaust would be the noise while driving. I once modified an earlier car I owned and it always had an annoying drone. But the 335 is begging for it. Cheers. |

it would depend on tht tone of the exhaust wouldn't it? not necesarrily the loudness that would make it annoying?
DANINSYD - how is the new exhaust going???

Milltek's drone at certian RPM. I spoke with Errol who Astra is refurring to about this as I was thinking about getting a system for my M3.
Bavariacars in Gladesville sell the Remus exhaust (which is cheaper than the Milltek) and other goodies for the 335's such as KW's (they are a distributor) and the Drexler LSD diff (again Drexler distributor). Erik's the guy to speak to over there.

my brother has a milltek sport exhaust for his audi b5 rs4. he is also running 100 cell high flow cats, and the thing virtually spits flames (well, it doesnt, but it makes that really cool overrun and backfire noise).
at idle, its stock sounding, but at wot and when accelerating, it is noticeably louder. a different pitch as well. on the freeway, it can get annoying, but being a euro, it has better insulation than a jap import where droning can get hard to live with. otherwise turn up the stereo. also, derek is my brothers mechanic as well. top class workshop for those on the northern beaches |

I put an aftermarket exhaust on an E36 once and the drowning made it very annoying at any speed. I took it back to the exhaust shop, and they packed the rear muffler with what looked like steal wool. No joke. It silenced the drowning but still had a great sound. They said the sound was mainly due to the duel 3" pipes I had coming out of the fk'r.

KW= Coilovers. Better than the PSS9's as you have more adjustability and the V3's don't need to be removed from the strut to do major adjustments (helps if you track your car you can do the mods on the go)

yeah the bilstiens are better in that you can adjust the compression rate on the car, the KW's you have to take them out to do it. However the bistiens cost more....
Well the exhaust u can find on the miltec UK site for full technical specs http://www.millteksport.com/products...cfm?modelid=92 It's about 3 grand and it's actually a little quieter, if you can believe that... a small amount of noticeable gain but my chip should be in this week or next, they should go well together. Will post some photos once i work out how to upload it... this is where someone jumps in and says :this is how you do it noob"...:rocks: |

The KW's you can adjust height, compression & rebound damping on them and they are cheaper than the PSS9's. They are a better serious coilover setup than the PSS9's which give a softer ride than the KW's. All right for an 335, but for my M3 the KW's are better with the ride and adjustability.

No idea, my quote says I was comparing the PSS9's and KW's for an M3. I haven't a clue what the lesser Bilstein coilovers have in the way of features and adjustability.
