If you live in Md, give Details Details Details a try. They're on Rockville Pike just south of E. Gude Drive. (15125 Frederick Rd, Rockville, MD, Phone: 301-294-3050).

They offer a hand wash, interior vacuum, and tire treatment for $28. It's far superior to the so-called "brushless" places, in my opinion. They're not Shim, of course, but who is? The owner is a nice guy and practices good customer service. One of his employees mixed up my appointment and they had no slots available when I showed up. The owner gave me a free wash when I returned. Their facility is well kept and they will give you a ride to the Metro.

Question Hand Wash or Touchless in or around D.C.

I live in a D.C. condo with no place to do my car myself. Can anyone recommend a place in or close to DC for a hand wash or decent touchless wash??

Thanks.

I live in Columbia and always go to the BP gas station in Harpers Farm. Excellent touchless with dryer.

I too recommend Details, Details, Details. Great owner and great facility. Excellent service. Does take a little bit of time since everything is hand washed. I plan on taking my e90 there and only there.
