By 'Home lights' you mean the lights come on when you pull the 'flash' stalk after turning off the ignition.

The default time set in I-drive is 30 seconds (on mine it was)........ so you must have a very long driveway to walk up

there is an option in the OBC, you can extend it upto 3 or 4 minutes, get the manual out and read about it!

Yes you can but it depends on the car

I have a 2008MY E91 and when I bought the car the setting was fixed.

Last year then the car had the latest firmware installed I was suddenly presented with the option to set the follow home lights to a number of different options right up to almost 5 minutes. This is done via the settings on the stalk.

So I suspect it depends on the age of the firmware on the car which normally would equate to the age of the car itself.

i have an E92 2007 and i can set it on the stalk for up to 4 mins. Tried it and it does work. Use the OBC when the car is started but stationary and there will be the option that has a light symbol with a clock by the side of it. Choose that and the option of the times will be there 10 sec to 4 mins i think.
