Dakar is where it's at, i'll be selling mine soon to fund a GTR or 335 and 2 seater, just can't make my mind up on the 1 v's 2 cars option.

Right, well if you have a shitload of spec, DCT, low mileage, new i-Drive and so on, I've got 35k for you. Done!

I have a mega shit load of spec including TV, CD changer, iDrive, DCT, EDC (a must no matter what some say), the list is endless. Oh! I also have a set of black competition wheels to go on too. but 35k

I can't think of a better all round car than the M3...

It's the other way around, with them being a ltd edtion run of only 250 (one being written off) leaves only 249, no more to be produced. So it's a 10k premium

Can understand that EDC might be a good bargaining tool come resale but why do you think it really is such a must for everyday use? As the Editions already have a better set up than std M3s (Negative side might be that the owner wanted EDC to track the Car)

Yep think I was selling it far to cheap so going to hang on a bit longer I've withdrew the add now

Real Thing - EDC makes a massive difference when really pushing on, there is a lot less body roll and more control, on bumpy roads I leave it in comfort but when the road gets twisty there is nothing like stiffening it up a bit, I feel more confidence as roll and bump rebound is reduced.

I probably just don't drive hard enough to warrant it
(best hide your comments when I'm next trying to sell )

I'll edit them, but in case I put mine on the market we need to leave your comments up

I took mine on a airfield 1-2-1 circuit tuition day when my tyres were a little low on tread and the EDC really came into it's own, it was also great on the softest setting but when the surface was smooth the extra taughtness in the body was just immense.

Make the guy an offer. Nobody is going to be grumpy about an offer within 10% of the asking price.

Lovely Colour
Got the Performance spoiler on mine with it matching the Roof imo it makes the rear of the car look even better and as you know that's the only view most other drivers see.

Incredibly tempting as that is what I have been waiting for. Would it be an import on 57?

Could be a dealbreaker on insurance though eh? I've always struggled with imports. I've posted on the thread, by the way. Thanks for the spot.

Read your post Matt, from my experience GT-R was harder to find insurance for but when I did it was only about 50 more than the M3 (but needed tracker & not sure about the import implications) Admiral multi-Car is probably the most competitive and worth doing a on-line quote with.
If you don't go down the GT-R route and your Golf is DSG I may be interested in taking it in part ex against my M3 although not sure if you want to have over 42K wrapped up in 1 Car
Good Luck
Chris
