Has anyone replaced the i-Drive knob on their E90 with the newer and nicer one from the E92? Curious to see if its a direct replacement/drop in so to...

Anybody know which one better matches the aluminum trim? Mine doesn't match all that well (too glossy compared to the brushed look of the aluminum trim). It's a little thing, but it's annoying me...

I don't have the Al trim but I would imagine the lighter one would match better

Hold on boys... looks like there will be a delay on getting these knobs.

Yeah.... I wanna know who stole mine
I SWORE that mine was shipping first but no... SOMEONE had to order theirs after me and got mine. Now I have to wait for them to come in like everyone else

I got the 364 as well.

I also ordered the chrome grill from the 330i... I can't wait... should be here monday/tuesday.

grab the bottom of the idrive knob with your finger tips . and just pull up with even force. replace the new idrive knob and just push it down with your thumb.

Its a level 10, harder than retrofiting a set of xenons on a non xenon car!

the UPS website said my knob has been delivered... I'm going to install it when I get home.
