Anyone available can help install BMS DP fix or reverse PROCede Harness DP fix?

Hey guys anyone available can help do this for a small fee? And is installing BMS DP Fix essentially amount to reversing PROCede DP fix? I think Shiv said PROcede gets better signal for better AFR control, so if I install BMS fix, does that mean I am doing same exact thing, or is it a real permanent fix because PROCede can do its thing and BMS cover the DP fix part? I need to do this soon as I need to pass emissions and not throw codes.

Bump? Just looking for anyone familiar with putting in the BMS DP fix if a tune (PROCede) is already on the car. I have it coming in tomorrow instal Friday or this weekend? I'll pay a reasonable fee obviously.

Hey man I have no experience with the DP fix otherwise I would assist you. Does BMS have a manual you can download? Maybe call for support? Come on, someone in the area must have done this before? Good Luck.

yes it comes with instructions but only how to hook it up to ECU not to a PROCede. I have old V2 converted to V5 so the colors on the wires are not going to match the latest stuff. Would be nice to get someone who knows what they are doing to help me get in plugged in. I am just not competent enough with this to be confident I wont screw it up especially seeing that I have to do it a bit differently since its mix and match thing.

There are lots of people that have experience doing these things. Try Bigdogz, Clem or Sniz, and many others.

No idea but what BMS dp fix do you have? V2 failed on my car. I have to look into v3 if I do this.

Clem and Sniz did my FMIC, Sniz did PROCede harness update but hes busy and no time, and I am under time pressure since I need to smog ASAP. I'll PM Bigdogz see if he's available. Thanks.

This one ---> http://www.burgertuning.com/instruct...ownpipefix.pdf

Yeah if you have PROCede, and need the harness update, unless you want not to update; the BMS DP fix is best long term solution for smog test states.

My understanding is that the Procede harness update was a way to free up some channels for other uses but if those uses are not currently part of your needs then why not use the Procede to modify the O2 signal?

Abeek (sp) tried the BMS DP fix version 2 and it didn't work for him so unless you have the BMS DP fix with the adjustable gain you might be best using the Procede.

I have the latest DP fix from BMS. Only problem now I can't find anyone who has time and knows their way around this. I am tempted to give it a shot, but wasting all that time only to get it wrong not appealing to me. I'd rather pay someone who knows what they are doing, get it right. What is the best setting max? Can I just set it to max and be done with it?

I'd check with Terry at BMS to see what he thinks. It's not that hard to do may take you like 40 minutes taking your time. I helped do one about two months ago and you just need to go slow. If you install your procede you'll be fine.
