So I had the insurance do an adjustment and take care of everything for me and they cut me a check for $1,400.... My deductible is only $250.. I originally took it to this place that specializes in PDR and he quoted me $550 to pop and paint... So I got my insurance to replace my whole door as well as fix a dent on my gas lid

I am dropping the car off later on today and will get it back next week.. Will update with pics

There goes $250 that I could have used in mods but at least I'm getting a whole new door.

Glad it worked out for you. Is the work being done at a BMW dealer?

20BMW325i: That’s terrible luck, my friend. But I have good news for you; I notice you live in Florida and according to Florida Law, your insurance company is not allowed to increase your premiums if your car was parked when it was hit. Just make sure you file a police complaint for good measure and go ahead and report it to the insurance people. Your insurance for auto will cover the damages, and all you’ll need to pay is the deductible.

Exactly what I did .

I actually had to postpone dropping my car off because of the body shop ordering the parts from BMW, So I'm dropping it off next week to the body shop and getting my loaner for the weekend.

Always looked at PDR as a band-aid...weird to pay for something that doesn't leave you with 100%...but that's just me
