What hood to get?

I have a lot of hail damage on my hood and going to get a new one. I have a pre lci 335 e90. Im thinking about getting a lci hood and get a msport bumper to match or get the vorsteiner hood and eventually get a m tech bumper. What you guys think is the most appealing, trying to keep a sport/classy look...not boy racer ha. Thanks

I am a huge fan of my Vorstiner Power Dome hood!

I think you have to get new fenders to fit an LCI hood?

I just went through this myself. If you're interested in a pre-LCI hood, you don't have many choices. Vorsteiner doesn't make the hood anymore for our cars. You can only purchase a used hood from someone.
**********s has a very nice hood that's almost exactly like the Vorstseiner and good quality. It's a Carbon 8. I just got my car back two days ago (installed and painted Carbon 8 hood, Vorsteiner CSL trunk and black side-view mirrors).

Carbon 8 hood belongs on a Honda IMO. Maybe if the vents were painted body color I'd change my mind.

^looks good. What'd it run you after paint? I'm close to pulling the trigger on a msport lci front bumper and lci vented hood...very tempting.

I believe only the bumper and hood are different on lci.

^I agree, that's why I want to keep a stockish look, but aggressive also. There's a fine line with these cars IMO.

Hard to say a price for paint. My shop works on Ferrari's and Lambo's and did a fantastic job. You'll be looking at least $1500 to do a front end and hood I'd imagine.

As far as styling: to each his own. The OP is asking about other hood options. That means he's not interested in stock.

Ya I'm not a fan of the pre lci hood. Don't hate it, but too conservative with it's lines.

The desire for sporty class begs for an LCI MSport conversion. The hood and bumper should run $500-$600 for paint.

Tough to say. I went with getbmwparts.com because they were close enough for me to pick it up. If they'd have shipped it I could've spent the same money at any dealership.

I've been searching for a while...where can I buy a LCI M-Sport front bumper? The performance bumper under tischer shows a different picture than the one on the LCI msport sedans.

Sorry to go off topic, but you can just put a E90 LCI hood on a pre-LCI E90?

It would be listed under m-sport, i'd assume, the performance bumper is a whole different part.

you need the bumper and kidney grilles from the lci to fit.
