Today I wish I had a oil dipstick.

Oil light when on yesterday morning.

Yesterday afternoon it show'd down only 3/4.

This morning it went on again.

Thoughts?

Was it showing 3/4 full, or down 3/4, meaning only 1/4 left ?

I'm beginning to think it's pressure related. Yesterday PM was rush hour traffic so the car was idling or just over idle. Yesterday AM and this morning I was driving at 70+ mph.

How many miles on your car?
It is normal to burn oil.

I got the light at 6k miles and it was all the way down.
I added one quart and it went back to full.

That gauge is for one quart. your car takes like 6 or 7.
So, it does not mean you are almost empty on oil.

If the reading starts fluctuating, you'll want to check the oil level sensor as well.
