I'm a bit slower than Mr.5 in posting this up, but was also at Laguna Seca on New Year's Eve Day. The weather was fantastic (40-50 deg), and we were so lucky to have experienced the only day that broke in between non-stop rain! It rained the day before, and after! How lucky was that?!?

I signed up for the same group as Mr.5, with about the same track experience as him, but they bumped me up to the next higher group with full track point-by passing. I totally enjoyed the experience.

My fastest lap was 1:52.5, running STOCK boost (10.5psi) but using the PROcede's awesome power delivery. Improved from last year's 1:54 time while running ~80-100HP LESS on my car. I passed all cars except the C6 Z06, and GT-R, which left me in the dust

2nd Track event with no limp modes using the PROcede’s new auto-tuning feature. I’m loving it. Prior to Aug ‘10, was experiencing limp modes and misfiring at every track day. It got so bad that I almost gave up in tracking this car. Needless to say, I’m now back at it with renewed passion and excitement, and look forward to turning up the power at future events.

UPDATE 1/11/11: Used Oil Analysis
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=475228

Updated this thread with a link to my UOA thread in maintenance.

It's relevant to this forum because many of you who mod your car, and drive your car hard may be interested in analyzing your oil condition. And obviously, those who track their car may be even more interested. Perhaps the benefits of a good tune on a modded car to long-term reliability can be considered. At the very least, more data on the too-often oil change interval questions. Who pulled the magic number, 7.5K miles, out of their hat anyways?

Surprisingly, there haven't been too many UOAs posted on e90post these past few years, so here a little contribution from me.

I think you'll find the UOA interesting.

Thanks for sharing. I do 1 or 2 track days every month, so this gives a very good reference. How many hours were you on track over the 2 days?

Thanks! I had 8 x 25 min sessions, so about 180 mins / 3 hrs of track time on this oil change. I always try to get out early to maximize time on track
