FS: Brembo Gran Turismo kit full front/rear
SOLD Reduced! $4000 Shipping Update: I took a box of the front caliper/rotor to UPS and got some shipping quotes. These two boxes are slightly heavier than the rears, so this is what I used to get the quotes. The rears should be slightly less per box. Use these numbers are close approximations. The following numbers are per box (out of four). To 90210: ~$56. To 33544 (Zephyrhills, FL) ~$33. To 75067 (Lewisville, TX) ~$42. To 56751 (Roseau, MN) ~$45. For sale is the full front and rear set, 14 inch Brembo GT kit. The brakes came off because I sold the car. Comes with all the hardware you'll need to mount these to your 335/228. There are a couple small paint chips due to careless mechanics, visible in the pics. You'll be able to put these right on the car and drive, but the pads are worn, so I would consider purchasing new ones sooner rather than later. These were never tracked/abused. These retailed for $7000. I'm asking $4000 (it's like buying fronts and getting the rears for free!) and would very much prefer a local buyer as these four boxes are rather heavy and this would be pretty expensive to ship. Please feel free to message me with any questions, etc. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Here's one iphone pic I have uploaded of the brake on the car already (please ignore the road rash haha). I can take close-up pictures of them tomorrow. They're in very good condition save one chip on the driver side caliper that measure probably 2mm x 1cm at one of the edges/corners of the caliper. They've got 10k miles on them.
I wonder if OP could post more pictures of each individual caliper (especially that first picture) or a link to the pictures in larger resolution??

I'll take some more pics in the next day or two. The caliper in the first pic still has dirty water on it, as I forgot to dry it off before snapping the pic. And these could still use a proper, more thorough cleaning if the new owner were so inclined. I'll take a handful of detail shots so you can more clearly discern between brake dust/dirt and chips/scratches. Stay tuned, I'll post them up here. Thanks for the inquiries.

New to bbk's how long do the rotors last and do the rotors need to be changed every time pads are worn like oem BMW brakes. How much are replacement rotors. Thx

I called one place, all they had in stock (aside from Pagid and Hawk race pads) were the original Brembo replacement pads. They're $450 for the fronts, slightly less for the rears.
You won't need to replace the rotors, they've got lots of life left in them, as these were used only on the street.

New pads from Brembo(Ferodo FM1000) is roughly 450 +shipping
Upgraded pads from porterfield is roughly 350+shipping. This is just for the front axels not including the rear. I just bought a new set for my Brembo GT monoblock kit. Although brake pads are more expensive traditionally, they should have a longer life than typical OEM brake pads due to the large pad surface area on the brembo gt kit. |

Quote:
Brembo rotor/pads have minimum recommended thickness just like OEM brakes from BMW. Replacement rotors are approx. 450(rotor ring)+90(harware)= 540$. This is only per corner, which means that to do the front axel, it'd cost roughly 1100$ for just rotor rings/hardware without the brake pads. |
