Was great fun today with George and Nick! I am glad I went. Wet first session, did not take much to slide around, but got dryer at each session, so the afternoon sessions were completely on the dry. Nick's cousin from Greece got a ride from an instructor.

Oh crap......... it was NEQ?? Doh!!!!!!!1 I forgot. I thought you guys were just going for a drive.

Nope, BMW QC event, in honor of thanking instructors and advanced solos for a great season. BMW did 4 LCMT event this year.....

How does it work for lapping at Tremblant?? Do u have to be member??? Costs??? Or is it like ICAR?? Is there certain days anyone can go??

Only when clubs go. There are quite a few through the year, though.

you can join tremblant's lapping club but membership is very expensive. most of us go when clubs organize a track day there.

Tonybest usually creates a thread with all the available track dates at various tracks early in the season. you pick the events you want to go for and go to the respective website of the organizing club then sign up. signing up early is always a plus. some events fill up very quickly!

here's a list of a few clubs that organize most of the track days around the Montreal area (there are many more, but these are the guys i usually go with):
- BMW QC club
- BMW Trillium club (Ontario Chapter)
- Autodrome St Eustache club
- Viper Club Quebec Chapter
- PCA Rennsport

Yes Ken was fun glad I got see you since it had been a while. The day started off a little slow due to the wet track but day got better.

George was pretty fast indeed, did have fun in the morning lapping him in the rain cough "quattro" cough. lol!!!

onto more important things. went late, slept in. started 1st session on my stock wheels with less tread...sliding like crazy, too much. not fun. pit after 1 lap. changed wheels. missed first session. oh well

2nd session, wet. sliding. less than before. staying behind raffi's dad's gt3rs 3.8 with his exhaust. fml that thing sounds like sex. he had bald cup tires lol. I was focusing on his lines. was fun, some slow laps

next sessions all dry. 1st session got my fastest lap. other laps ranged from high 2:00 to low 1:59. pretty consistent, traffic or not. fun day. i still have a lot of work to do. confident i can get mid-high 1:57 on my setup now (brakes, AD08)

next year we go for camber, should shave 1-2 secs. let's see if i can go for 1:56-1:57 next year with that mod. not ready for r comps yet

also, next year we work on other tracks. hopefully try to get in 4 events, unlike this year.

here are vids. had a lot of fun with nick and his cousin + ken.

now back to my rabbit hole. see u in a few months

I can see where you turbo-hating, RWD M people come from.

That's the only time you'll hear me say that. Now back to regular AWD small-block turbo promotion
