I know this pain all too well, it can be tedious, I'm going to be selling mine soon as well...

I quite like the negotiation. I'm probably a mild psychopath. I love watching people shuffle when I just stare at them for an unreasonable amount of time. That's only if they are playing silly games haggling.

Worse thing for me is making sure I've done my homework and reduce risk of stealing, scamming or worse.

You can tell an idiot a mild off. I just say call me when you are serious and have a realistic offer in mind. Most people just fuck off, a few state there intent there and then and some do ring back shortly after. All my previous cars sold to at least the first or second real buyer.

I feel your pain and remember it well from my younger days...

For me this is THE big "hidden" bonus of leasing a car. None of this hassle, someone just turns up at your door to take it away on the date as agreed from day 1. This means you can then arrange your next new car well in advance and get it delivered on/near the same day.

I had the new M6GC arrive on the 19th Dec and them Mercedes came to take away the E63 on the 21st.

Completely stress free. And the collection inspector said the E63 was the cleanest and best kept car he had ever collected - he had never seen "stripes" hoovered in the carpet before!

Mother in law just sold her Mini. WBAC offered £5300. Put it on Autotrader for £6500, took 4 weeks but sold to the first buyer to view in person for £6300.

Patience is key I think.
