[QUOTE=iqraceworks;29398594]

As soon as I installed silicone inlets…..it switched over to the “screeching turkey” sound.

With bigger turbos and custom tune…..it’s still got the same “screeching turkey” sound.

/QUOTE]

I would like to know how you know what a screeching turkey sounds like, and why.

So far under boost, Id say more airplane like on my end. goes from turbo spool to when its really spoolin' it sounds fantastic

Lol. My TurboSmart RacePort sounds exactly the same as the day I installed it even after turbos and inlets. I do change the springs for winter/summer as i've seen my car pulls a greater vacuum in the summer with the AC on. This only changes the sound slightly though, more so because the speed it's venting at.

Firestone Indy 500s for the win. Love those tires.

I've been struggling with the same issue as OP. Basically after installing relocated stainless inlets (1.75") my Tial BOV started to make the turkey squeal noise that we all love.

I ordered a BOV delete plate to rule out if the BOV was actually at fault, and to my surprise it still squeals like a turkey even without a BOV (vacuum line is capped off). I get some compressor surge in 1st gear, and light throttle 2nd-3rd gear (maybe 3psi of boost max), then anything above that will squeal like a pig.

Edit: I should add I am not under/overboosting, no leaks to be found.

I been dealing with this issue for 2 years now and gave up on it . Mine started after upgrading to bigger inlets with PS2 turbos. I tried HKS, turbosmart, stock DV, and Tial BOV with no solution. Went through almost every spring that Tial offers and just wasted my money because it never went away. I found that it’s coming out the DCI as you see in my video.
