Please someone correct me if you also have the 2.5L versions in your north american 325i's but google says:

N52B30 2005-2007 E90/E92/E93 325i/325xi sedan, coupe and convertible (North American markets only)

N52B25 2005-2008 E90/E91/E92/E93 325i/325xi sedan, coupe and touring (except North American market)

So my guess is ESS is manufacturing this thing for the N52B30 so it might not work for the N52B25 ?

I Emailed Roman Re the N52B25 the 2.5L 325i that everyone other than the states got for the 325i

"We plan on having a kit for this motor available by fall.

Roman"

I would be keen to try it out in Oz, id be a bit concerned about the lack of a intercooler on hot days here tho.

The N52B25 2.5L 323i in Canada is a MSV80.
The N52B25 325i in Europe is a MSV70.

Nope, I have 325 MSV80. Actually MSV80 was put on all LCI 325 with N52B25 around the world. MSV70 was only on pre LCI 325.

Good to hear, the (PRE-LCI) 2007-2008 323i were N52B25 MSV80 for Canada market.

I'm also a little concerned about our summers here in Australia. Could an inter cooler be fitted easily after install of the s/c? Would it be necessary?

I think you guys should sponsor a car, let's say in the Tampa Bay area

I've got new wheels and lci conversion coming in the next 6 weeks, a SC would compliment it very well

The ECU should just pull timing if the intake temps are a little high. Given it is such low boost I'm not too worried about it. If it is an issue an efficient water-to-air cooler is likely the easiest to sort out unless an air-air FMIC can be used without cutting anything, with a short path.

Another option is WMI (water methanol injection).

An oil cooler won't hurt longevity of the engine although it is hard to measure the potential benefit without testing the kit over summer with some data logging.

Isn't Australia a recipient of the hot climate version e9X? Cooling is inherently a bit better, that and low boost pressure = fine.

temp at where ESS is located is around 105-110 avg for summer, so most likely you should be good.

We have been very busy so I have not updated you guys in awhile but here is where we are currently at. We are going to release the 325 / 330 kits first as these kits are 100% finished. This will be in about 3 weeks and will be a limited release of about 10 kits. These first 10 kits will be a pre-release so we can get some general feedback from customer on the installation, performance etc.. Shortly after this pre-release we will open up the 325 / 330 on the webshop for the general public. We are just waiting on 1 part to clear production then we can start shipping these. This delay has allowed us to do some extended hot weather testing on our test car as it has been 105 with humidity here these past couple weeks so it's not all bad.

We will roll out other models shortly after the 325 / 330 until they are all available. This includes the 28 series which we know has a large following Due to the amount of work involved which each version we are going to take our time to make sure it is done correctly, we are not in a rush. I do not have any sort of exact time frame for the other models but it is safe to say they will be available this fall / winter if not sooner.

I can attest to the weather part... it's definitely been hot and humid here in the greater Phoenix area.

Atleast it was 2 years, and not 2 weeks! Pumped for the release! Holding for the 28 myself! Also, MR Norway, help your Swedish brother out by working out the kinks for the 28 on my car! I supply herring and booze!

I've driven in ~45 a few times, I don't make a habit of it though and run 100RON in that weather. (or 98RON).

Roman- Is the e8x expected this year? Should I be trying to get in on the first 10 kits and see how far off it is? Happy to make minor modifications, within reason.
