I already had Ti Gunmetal Volk RE30's when i ordered the LM DBK's. Since they are somewhat similar in color (both dark), I decided to go with a light color wheel. Hence the LM-R's |

Still not sold yet????
cuz someone needs to buy these for SoCal MOM. My wheels were SOOO---> dirty today that they had the DBK color. After I washed my car and saw the polished lips again, I was like... hmmm... those DBKs would look GREAT!

can you tell me what really makes this rims different from regular lm besides color and stickers? not that i don't like it or anything but i just am curious if there is any differences structurely because it looks the same. brand new regular lm goes for tab under 4 grands from some vendors so there are significant price difference between them.

Structurally, they are the same and are built to the exact same specs as normal LM's.
What makes it different is the paint and the fact that BBS made it a limited edition set. The rivets are also black and not silver. You're probably thinking, ok, i can just buy a set of LM's and paint them. You can try to get a perfect color match, but that's gonna be a lil difficult. Personally I wouldn't go through the trouble of painting my rims. I rather have it come painted from the factory. Yes you can get LM's for a decent price from certain vendors. You can even go the replica direction and call it a day. However, there are people who are interested in items that are either custom or rare and hard to get. BBS LM is a classic wheel. They've been seen on JDM cars, to euro cars to high end exotics at times. They've withstood the test of time and IMHO they'll never go out of style. This is just a different "flavor" of them. |
