Dealer says that the frame is fine. That's a relief.
They also said the tire was fine. That, I find much harder to believe. Should I try to get them to replace it? |

Why? They would sell you(insurance company) one gladly if it was bad. You're worrying way too much about this. Car will be fine.

But, 335BBS has the right idea. I hit this one in the dead of night, in a rural area, where there were no lights on the highway. The impact was large enough for me to consider it a collision. Parts were destroyed, after all. |

No, I carry a $1000 deductible so i would still have to pay $1800. Plus every claim I've made against my insuranse companies in the past caused my premium to eventually go up. I sawllowed the bitter pill this time and came out of pocket.
