to OP contact Golfferrr (something like that) (posts on M3)
he works for BMW next to me he will hook you up on the PE exhaust. not sure how much it would be to ship, but it might be worth it. make sure you specify you want the 335i PE, he might think you want the M3, which is more.

OH AND HERE IS THE GAME PLAN GUYS! I contacted Tischer about the PE, and they said that since I'm out of state Tax is exempt. So I'm paying 1095+75 flat rate shipping. TOTALING 1170. PLUS I called a different dealership close to me near the IL border and they said they'll charge me 270 for the install, which means I am looking at about 1440 for the COMPLETE install and price for exhaust. Is this good enough? If I buy from my dealership and have them install it, I'm looking at about $$$$$1747!!@! Ridiculous, but at least this way I'm saving like 300 bucks! Let me know what you guys think. Warranty still intact this way, and I won from one angle. However, I need to know that Tischer is reliable, because since I'm not using a major credit card, I'm wire transferring them the money and I can't really reach them any other way other than e-mail. So they'll mail me EVERYTHING for the install that I need right? Thanks guys! Last edited by DesiRoc; 08-31-2011 at 06:17 PM.. |

That's a bit better.
Dont worry about Tischer. Everybody will vouch for them. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G customer service if ANYTHING's wrong.

+1 on Tischer being reliable.
Sounds like you got a better deal that way. Congrats

Good deal against the stealership! Got mine for $1000 at bmw bloomfield and had it installed by a reputable indy for $80, that's a 1/2 an hour of labor (actually i tip him$20). It's a perfect fit, with a right equipment you can even do it yourself!
Hey if next thing in your list is the PI check morristown bmw, got mine for $650 just saying you can use the extra bucks on other stuff to mod

I actually might look into the PI, but the price is just gut wrenching. Is it worth it? Significant difference than stock? |

i've thought of this sooo much before, i replaced my clutch, flywheel and motor mounts a local shop quoted me 1700 for parts and labor and gave me a definite date of being finished. my luck had it that my clutch just died so i had no choice but to go through bmw and ended up with the short stick paying fckn 4k for all of that and still had no estimated date ... i'd rather not have bmw do it, honestly i'd find the most legit looking shops to do it and it might just save you some cash and keep you going there?

I'm getting mine installed at a dealership in IL for a lower price than what the one in my state quoted. Dealership because I want my warranty to be in tact without any fuss, lol.

I have 17k in my dash, still have the bmw and CPO but as long as the problem is not going to be the mods that you install they can't deny yours! well to each is its own and I respect that. with the PI we have 328's so there's really nothing out there that can satisfy us for a significant gain, unless you ridiculously mod our whip and if you are worried with the warranty I think you should go w/ PI, it's a joy everytime you lift the hood!

You will never get ridiculous gains out of an N/A 328, especially an xi. I speak from experience fellas. I've been through almost everything- sprint booster, then BMS powerbox (after installing the BMW PI and PE first) then finally sold off the SB and BMS and got an AA tune. All in all, taking into account the 20 percent ish loss through the xi drivetrain, I'm lucky if I got an extra 15-20hp to the wheels. OP should definitely look into a BMW CCA membership to get 15-20 percent off dealer parts and sweet deals now and then. I got my PE installed for just under 1100 at Morristown BMW. I understand this isn't close nor remotely convenient for everyone to come to NJ just for a deal on a PE, but just to say deals are out there and vary from dealer to dealer, even the install costs. For anyone else who has the patience, I'll be parting out this car around August next year, among the parts will be a barely 2 year old BMW PE and PI Enjoy your ride in good health OP, and don't let the "turbo trolls" get to you. Best of luck!

I meant no respect towards the OP or anyone, hell I drive a 328er myself! Just sharing my own experiences along my mod journey, hoping to help others.
