Is there a euro part number for just the side skirts? I know you can get the entire M package but how about just the skirts? And yes I do know MWLewis is selling just the skirts.
Thanks for the

No.

The E46 debuted for MY1999 and we got the ZHP (which was very similar to the MSport package sold elsewhere) sedan for MY2003, and then the ZHP coupe and convertible for MY2004. I think its possible we will see something similar for the E9X. That means we might expect it around MY2010. Just my guess.

That's too bad. It'd be an instant selling point for me. The M bits, body, and shadowline. To do all that separate would be $4,000 or so.

Do you know what the option might cost based on previous ZHP pricing and the current option for Euro-spec models?

Hard to say. I'd guess maybe 2.5K or so.

Not so fast. I heard from a dealership that they thought it might be available within the next 2-3 months. But not cheap. E90 versions are already here - I think.

Please - and I mean this in the nicest way - do not post without confirming your information first.

"E90 versions" are in no way, shape, or form available in the US. You can order the E90 body kit only as an aftermarket item from the accessory catalog, but that is not the same as the entire MSport package. Also, in general, what you hear from a dealership should always be considered suspect information until you can verify. BMW has no current plans to offer this kit in the US, at least not as far as the known insiders on this forum know.

Hmm, just a thought: did everyone else get the M-Sport for the E46 straight away? What year?

Don't know, but I believe it was near the beginning of the production run, just like for the E9X.

Guys, if you're interested in seeing this option come to North America sooner than later, the best thing to do is tell BMW directly. I just submitted my feedback and got a response within 20 minutes.

http://www.bmwusa.com/Contact/ContactBmw.htm

Heck, it should be stickied. Feedback does work.

I just submitted a message expressing my disappointment in the lack of M-Tech availability, hopefully I get a response soon

I appreciate your comments. And I didn't really know what I was saying about e90 as I don't have one. However JleviSW was my "dealer" contact. He said that it was "on the boat" coming over and that dealers were to be getting them soon. Of course I was just asking about side skirts but that's just what I heard. Sure it might be rumor but I thought my source was pretty decent.
Thanks again.

A generic response is better than no response. They can't ignore their customers.

Well, I am not sure who JleviSW is. But, even if he is reliable, if you were just asking about E92 side-skirts then its probable he was just talking about those. It would be nice if those (and the rest of the E92 body kit) were now available from BMW USA as an accessory. Don't know about that, but I haven't heard anything. If there is no thread about it on E90post (and their might very well be I don't know), then I will bet its not true. Either way though, the factory option of the entire MSport package itself is definitely not available.

You can get alot of the parts for the e90 as accessories. It is technically not the FULL MSPORT KIT...but you do basically piece it together as best as you can.

The e92 body kit will most definitely be eventually avail, but similar to e90...you will have to order parts individually from accessories and piece it together. I doubt they will make this an option to be ordered as is from factory any time in the near future... like you already can in other countries. Sux.
