I'm going to Fighting Torque on this day to see how my shopping trolley goes up a runway.

As that takes me south of Watford Gap I might pop along to this in the afternoon as long as the guys at Harold Wood aren't too concerned at having my 'machine from the other side' parked on the forecourt!

Anneka,

There are some nice roads between Chigwell Row, Ongar and Writtle. Stevie might know some routes I don't but THIS isn't a bad example, only a short blast really but I regularly attempt to de-stress on this one, though sometime it goes horribly wrong if I get stuck behind a horsebox or a member of the 40mph brigade!!

Sounds good, anywhere nice to stop along the way?

I immediately thought London as it isn't short of interesting backdrops.

You'll notice that for the moment I have taken bbq out of the title of this thread. Unfortunately I hit a slight stumbling block with health and safety today so for the moment I have arranged caterers for the event. Hope this doesn't disappoint anyone too much!
