Interesting thought V. Will investigate that should do other ideas come forward.
I was fiddling about a little when I got it to work as I couldn't get my head around the lack of a 'confirm' button of some sort and consequently entered into (speedo) 4 and six a couple of times.

Anyone else get and tried there's yet?

Maybe an idea to reset everything back to standard (as if the jb4 wasn't there ) and start again.
Have you seen/got the chart with all the option on?

Hey, anyone know the definitive answer to this, I got the guage sweep to work but don't know how (due to not employing a confirm button of some sort).
Then after stopping of at the olds for a couple of hours it had stopped functioning. ECU gone to sleep I and thought therefore this would have to be dialed in on each start up. Would be silly though but hey i'm new to it.
Anyhoo, botttom line is I haven't got it to work since.
I've googled it and the only answers I find aren't working for me.
(use the the buttons to get to speedo 5, then tach to 7. Then use the down volume (speedo) down back to normal cluster.)
Can somebody confirm if this sequence worked for them 'cos it sure as hell doesn't for me.
Its a toggle setting, ie on then off. No need to reset any settings after stopping

Is stealth gauge hijack on? If so your gauges will be normal until you use 50% throttle.

Not tried this function yet. I'll give it a go today and report back. Everything else seems to be working fine so far.

*edit*

Works fine for me. Just select 5 - 7 then volume down until you are out of the menu.
I started it twice and it worked fine. Will report back if it doesn't work after the ecu has slept.

All working fine now. Well actually it always was.
I didn't realise that map 0 meant that the jb4 was switched off. I had assumed it meant that only the mapping was switched to stock while keeping all other option settings intact. I had been saving the map 1 for longer rides than just around town. Sorry to have bothered you all (and hijacked the thread).
Got the chart V and all makes sense. I was interpreting it incorrectly.

Glad it's sorted.

Remember map 4 is mapping off with features on.

But you're better to just leave it on map 1.

You'll confuse the hell out of the ECU as it will never adapt properly if you keep changing all the time.

BTW ecu 'sleeping' has nothing to do with jb4 memory.
