Well I was just about to manage a set of DP's for a friend, when Charlie published the "fantastic news", soon followed by promises from RR. So I stopped him telling there is no way to make a set of good DPs cheaper then someone mass producting them + mandrel bents and stuff... and did not want to compete with s/o already finishing his R/D and starting production. Would be useless... Now I have to tell U that if I wouldn't be such a pussy and did what I'd been asked for, I would allready flooded the market with mandrel bent DP's from europe, also 100% sure the catted version would be on the market, too... Well I'm really diappointed, just dunno wether I'm more pissed on RR for making empty promises and pulling your nose or on me for being such a lama.

Sorry if your upset. We proved our product on the track, and are ready to release them this weekend. Please bare with us you will not be let down. I know its taken a long time but we wanted to make sure everything was perfect so we didn't have any issues.

In regards to the previous question about CEL we have still not gotten one. Thanks!

Can you give a guestimate as to when you will begin shipping the HFC DP's? My exhaust removed the secondary cats and I don't feel comfortable running the car with the catless downpipes.

I am on the fence about it too. I am worried that I will end up getting a CEL if I go catless. My other option is to go catless and if I get a CEL put HFC's in section 1 of my exhaust. However, I would rather avoid cutting up the piping from my RD Sport Quad.

i was thinking about putting cats in the sect 1 of my exhaust as well but dont wanna hack up the exhaust like you, i guess we are in the same boat. But its good to hear that RR hasnt had a CEL yet...

We have looked at many ways for the HFC. We thing a test pipe below the DP would work best in regards to HP gains. So we will offer a test pipe for the HFC. In regards to the HFC on the DP we have them fitted they will be in just after the catless GB is done.

many people are waitin for the true polished ones to arrive

(non-prototype) i recieved an e-mail monday confirming that they get it back from the polisher tommorow (thursday) and then begin shipping... theres a group buy going on in the sponser'd section i believe, good luck!

Yes with full straight pipe exhaust with mufflers with secondarys without secondarys its all been tested not one CEL. The first time we put the DP on we got a CEL and it was because we crossed the O2s since then no CEL.
