You're also from Canada. That says a lot about your opinion on the game.

It's more than just a game. It's like a f-ing holiday here in the states. geez.

well i won on my bet. lol In my opinion, super bowl suppose to be best of the best of AFL and NFL battle up against each other. Previous super bowl like Pat set some kinda of record . it was fun to watch them. I dont know why but this super bowl scored was kinda low. I guess both of the team got good defense. . i want to see high score . lol

Seriously one of the best Super Bowls I have ever seen. It doesn't need to be high scoring to be good, it was just a blast to watch.

Fifa world cup sells lots of used TVs.. and consists of 20 people around a 20 inch TV.. Superbowl sells HD/Big screen TVs and oh yeah the biggest money market in the world DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE WORLD CUP. My girlfriend is South African and she loves rugby. It is an interesting sport.. doesn't stop moving and reminds me in many ways of football. But truthfully.. it is not the same. The hits as hard as they might be.. are no where near as hard as in American football. Not to mention these sports need to make revenue and football is perfectly designed to do so. Go Giants.. Long live America's new past time Football.

i guess. im a type of a guy who would like to see high score game. In my opinion, Super Bowl should be high score or record setting because you have two best team playing against each other.

for example..

in super bowl XL .. there was something special. for example.

Versatile wideout Antwaan Randle El, a quarterback in college, took a handoff from Parker, sprinted right and threw perfectly to Ward for a 43-yard TD with 9:04 remaining. It was the first Super Bowl touchdown pass by a receiver.

In super bowl 39

The Patriots forced four turnovers, while New England wide receiver Deion Branch, who recorded 133 receiving yards and tied the Super Bowl record with 11 catches, was named the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player.

in super bowl 38

New England quarterback Tom Brady was named Most Valuable Player for the second time in three years. He set a Super Bowl record for the most pass completions (32). Brady also recorded a 66.7 completion percentage (48 pass attempts), 354 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception, and 12 rushing yards.

Now you know why i said this super bowl is kinda boring to watch. Both team did not set any record or do something special. For example in SUper Bowl 40, You got first receiver in super bowl history a WR throw a tD...

Overall it was alright to watch..

No sir, that's what the rest season is for.

You can't score all these points and set all these records in one game. Very unlikely if both teams are awesome and neither team can manage a touchdown.

i guess i can agreed with you on their defense Department. Both team got great defense. ..

Having both team with great defense in a game. In my opinion, it is kinda boring.. They duked it out but no touchdown.. . lol

I guess im more like a Pro Basketball guy.. Not but the best in 90 Lakers team.
Fast Break LAkers!!!.. that is what i called exciting game.

Records... back to back super bowl MVPs by the manning family... Giants holding the 18-0 patriots to half their season average of 28 points. Two cities who absolutely hate each other going at it and New York of all cities takes away the patriots chance at perfection.

But I guess if you live on the west coast you really don't care... And in that case you aren't a true fan of football. I have watched every super bowl since I was 4 years old and no matter who is in it, it is a joy to watch. These guys have given their best all season and in one moment it is worth everything or nothing.

If you only watched the game to see the patriots win and go 19-0. You are more of a bystander than a football fan.

There was a record tied or broken in this game. Didn't Wes Welker either tie or break the super bowl record for receptions?

There were plenty of records set:

Quote:
With this game, the Giants also established an unprecedented 11 consecutive victories away from home in a single season, but this game is not counted as a road game because it was played at a neutral site.

Punter Jeff Feagles became the oldest player in NFL history to play in a Super Bowl, at age 41.

Peyton and Eli Manning became the first duo of brothers to win back-to-back Super Bowls as well as the first duo to become back-to-back Super Bowl MVPs.

It was also the first time that the lead has changed three times in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl

Patriots receiver Wes Welker tied the record for most catches in a Super Bowl during the Patriots' scoring drive in the fourth quarter.

How about the fewest possessions in the first quarter: 2.
Wasn't the opening drive the longest, too? Think I read that somewhere.

Was a great game. I love defensive battles, and that was one hell of a defensive battle. Props to the Giants, they really played hard and had a good mindset going in.

I suspect this year's Patriots team will be remembered as the best team that never won the Super Bowl. You can say the Super Bowl ring is the only thing matters, but that's just not true. The records they set this year are undeniable.
