Do you think having higher pressure generally is a good idea if you're not driving over rough surfaces or carrying heavy loads? It seems somewhat counter-intuitive to me to have 29 psi in the front and 34 in the rear, so I'm thinking of just doing something like 32/34 or so.

i had a 2003 BMW 330xi that would get me about 450 km on a tank. In my current 2009 BMW 335xi, i am lucky to get 380 km doing the exact same driving (speed levels and mix of highway/local driving). Both 6MT
I do love driving the 335xi but didn't expect this hit in gas mileage. Gets expensive |

I consistently get around 22mpg/ 11.1L/100km on my tuned e90 335i 6MT. I am a spirited driver and don't drive conservative at all.
I do mostly city driving with around 10-15% highway. I can easily do 500km/310miles per tank before filling up... You guys' foot made of lead or something lol?!?

I averaged 14-17 mpg on one tank when I was driving all city in M/S mode, no highway. But when I do mix in highway into my driving I get around 22 mpg, people who don't drive highway most of the time will see below 17 mpg.
I thought I was the only one seeing these numbers and I was close to replacing my fuel filter. |
