If that's correct that it would have its debut around April time. I just don't think that is going to happen. The e92 coupe was released a year after the E90 and I don't see the F32 being any different.

Happy to be proven wrong, but I cannot find any info on F30post that says otherwise.

It's all speculation really just think it will likely get its debut around Sept 2012 with a release of march 2013.

And according to this thread they are stockpiling E90's in the US to sell through, so no doubt they would do the same to the E92

the 1 series 5 door ends production in August 2011 then F20 goes on sale in september 2011...

E92 ends in June 2012.... Also BMW cant afford to be without a 3 series Coupe for 9-12 months.. thats insane.

Oh and btw a sales guy in bmw said to me yesterday that i would see a new 3 Coupe within a year!!! and he was trying to sell me a USED E92...

Have you seen how fast bmw throw out new models these days? times have changed since the launch of the E90.

The demand for company car 3er's will outstrip any stockpile that bmw could possibly ever amass. the reason why the F30 is going a couple months later is Xmas.. Sales in December to february in the car industry are shockingly crap. plus think of the downtime people have near the holiday season...

You down launch a new ice cream in winter.. etc

As I said its all speculation since no one outside of BMW knows when it's due to be released. My opinion is a late-ish 2012 debut, when it appears in your local showroom after that is anyone's guess. M-Sport versions, well who knows

And as has been posted, expect the values of current E92's to be hit hard when you have used F32's in the dealers forecourts.

Right now if you spot a bargain or the right E92 then I would go for it and enjoy the car, plenty of time to enjoy it

Im sure the F30 will be launched and on the road before the London Olympics.. since BMW is sponsoring providing hundreds of cars for the event.

BMW usually run on a 7yr cycle so expect them replaced at that point.

tbh im now going to widen my search for a new car to the Audi TTS and the Z4 35i maybe 30i...

As much as i like the E92 and want a 335 version, i think i might be happier with a different car and sub 6 second - 0-60 is what im looking for.

The 335 will do 60 in sub 6's.

Its always good to try other car though, the TTS gets good reviews someone on here has one.

Yes the benchmark is sub 6 seconds but i am only also considering cars with reasonable Tax per year.

335 does tick all the boxes but i also want it to "Feel" faster if you know what i mean..

Reasonable tax?

Is this another "I'd buy a 335i with all its depreciation and running costs no problem, but a few hundred quid on tax is too much"?

It just seemed like a pretty big discount however it was put together, especially on a 320d!
On a fully loaded 335d it would seem a lot, but on a 320d it seemed massive.

You dont understand.

£750 a year in tax as a fucking lot of money to spunk away for no other reason than a car maker is lazy or crap at keeping emissions down.

Plus when your car is pretty much paid for by your company and you have a budget you want to stick to it doesnt make sense to waste a big lump of your budget on Tax.

£450 is current but there is talk of M band moving to £750 soon to allow the A/B bands to be removed from Road tax Status
