Wanted > 335i

As per the title, I'm now on the official hunt for a 335i. Only requirements I have are as follows:
  • Manual
  • Idrive
  • Less then 80,000k
  • FSH
  • Saloon or Coupe

Oh and preferably within striking distance of Watford / Lincs / Newcastle / Glasgow as I have trusted family & friends in these areas for first inspections etc..

I really think that's it?

Budget is up to £12,500.

Hi mate, couple of questions:

-Is the service history BMW or indy?

-Is it on the original tyres or different and what's the tread?

-When's the MOT / Tax?

-How many owners?

-And of course, pictures?

Cheers..

I wouldn't think BMW specific history is worth anything at that age and mileage.

If anything many dedicated indies are often far better with these cars.
Main dealers have limited exposure to N54 turbo engines IME.

Be more concerned about checking for tuning history and error codes above all else.
A 335i with fuelling or turbo issues will be a money pit of extreme dimensions.

In many respects, a car with BMW waranty makes a lot of sense in this price bracket and especially if you have little 335i / N54 model experiance to guide you.

There is a lot of rubbish out there so tread carefully.

I appreciate the words of advice though.

Last service was an independent, prior to that all BMW, I had 2 front tyres fitted for its MOT which I put bridgestone runflats on. I'm about to stick 2 budget non runflats on the back when I have the wheels refurb'ed.

MOT'd till Nov 12, 5 month Tax, and I'm the second owner.

No mods (apart from black grilles), all stock.
