I replaced the front windshield weather stripping today. Cost me $32 and 45minutes of my time. The original one was cracking and peeling and looked horrible. It's sad to see BMW using such poor quality parts, my car's a 2011...and have owned several older model japanese cars of which never had failing rubber trims. oh well.

BMW Individual speaker covers (x4). Rears went in relatively easy. Front door panels had to come off to change the fronts.

Yes, I need to change the damn peeling door handles.

Lowered car on H&R sport springs with Koni Shocks
Installed 75mm stud conversion kit
Installed my 19" BBS Lm-reps
Got a 4 wheel alignment
Washed car

Measuring out the distance from tire to fender so i can order some spacers.

I think it was a productive day.

Hey guys! New to the forum from Cali! Joined recently, but read/observe a lot to not be a noob. Yesterday did a muffler delete and sealed front mats with scotch guard. Love the sound if MD (have an injen intake too). Today plasti-dipped front grill, and badge. Came out great. Also installed my OE lip splitters that came in this week.

Cleaned the interior after a weeks worth of moving rims and tires around.
Put some gas in it and tested out my new rim and tire setup/fitment.

Tomorrow, the goal is to wash the exterior cause the car is absolutely dirty - layers of dirt and dust. Also going to polish the rims and remove the small amounts of dust, dirt, and grime on them.

Put in a BMS cp-e charge pipe. Satisfied. No issues in 2 days. Live in PHX, AZ here.

I normally take off within 1 minute of ignition. I try to stay @ < 3k rpms until after the temp needle gauge starts moving.

Gave her a good wash and claying today and will round off with a wax job tomorrow if my arms and back aren't toast.. I tell you, detailing really reveals things about your car you would rather not know, like a pretty large crack in my passenger side rocket panel.

First I had it washed, then went and had tints put on. In hindsight it was a bad idea to wash before getting the tints done. So I ended up going back to the car wash again after... All in all not a bad day... Tints looking good. 20%. White interior so I figured I couldn't do higher

Went to cars and coffee, then took the backroads home to stretch her legs a bit and then took data logs in the afternoon.

Tomorrow I detail.
