I was driving in Silver Spring going north on Georgia Ave at the intersection of Rt 29. Then I saw an un-marked dark grey Honda Accord sedan (03-06 style) COP car pulled over an old white Chevy Impala.

We've seen Mustang, Camaro, trucks, ... but this is the first time I am seeing a non-domestic COP car.

Cops here drive unmarked Honda Accords, ive even seen a Dodge Caravan and an unmarked Chevrolet Suburban. It's getting to be rediculous. Next thing you know cops are gonna be driving Bimmers, dopped with some rims. lol

lol funny. lets be seriously now.. why would someone in official department or the whole organized would drive Import or European car? Should they buy domestic car ? They buy domestic car to show their support for american company.. YOu know "Made in USa" i guess The phrase "MAde in USA" seem foreign to us american.. lol .. oh well i guess when we decided to buy car or anything.. we want cheap and reliable car or product. Thank Bush for making this happen for us.. Now you can do this to yourself now..

I'm a cop in silver Spring, the guy in the Accord is a friend and that is not a traffic enforcement vehicle. Unless you're doing something very crazy, unmarks like that one have bigger fish to fry and are not looking to blow their cover making traffic related stops....

"Made in the USA" is meaningless now in the age of globalization. The Big 3 have many of their cars built in factories outside of the US, or use cheaper foreign-made parts instead. In addition most foreign manufacturers have factories in the US like Honda, Toyota, Subaru, Nissan, and even BMW.

Some of the cars your seeing are SAT cars the county buy's them new, the ones you will never see are Vice and Narcotics, they will never pull you over (not worth their cover) these are seized a lot of the time and could be anything even a BMW. SAT has tons of different car forign and domestic. It has nothing to do with being patriotic, it's about fooling the criminals... Just like you guys, they don't expect to see the cops in a Honda....

I've had a friend get pulled over by a cop who was driving a bmw... she said it was a Z! i couldn't believe it... still not sure if i do... but she insisted
