Conti DW's vs Mich PSS
Looking to order one or the other to replace my stock 18" RFT's. The Continental DW's are bout $300 bucks cheaper and have a higher tread wear (340 vs 300). I know they will both be a nice upgrade over stock runflats, but will there be a noticeable difference between the two tires?
I have not raced nor plan to. I just drive around the city or do some mountain runs every couple months. Most of my miles are done on California freeways (no snow, little rain, pretty moderate temps). |

Daily driver with occasional track/canyon run, DW's
Mainly track/canyon, PSS It'll be a shame to wear out those PSS with mainly straight highway. I'd personally go for better wear and comfort. |

Both tires are surprisingly quiet for such high performance tires. The Michelin PSS does have more dry and wet grip but you would need to weight the cost difference into your decision.

Continental DWs are great for everyday driving. If you're just looking for something to get around town with I think those would suit you just fine. If you were to push the car hard though, expect that the PSS would be better. You have to figure in the cost, the type of driving you will be doing, etc. If you only plan on driving spirited once in a while the DWs may make more sense.
