GLD this Tuesday the 12th anyone?

Hi guys I am fairly new to the forums and BMW. I am planning on heading to Great Lakes Dragaway for the first time with my car and wanted to see if we could get more BMWs there. Maybe meet some people from here. Post up or I'll see you there. Gates open at 5. Its a street tire day and only $25 to race. I really don't care about prep my first time out with the car. Any pass will be a new best haha.

I'm going to try to make it. I haven't made my yearly run yet this year. It seems every year is a different tune.

I am curious on your results with the Cobb compared to the V4.

If I was a betting person,I would say V4. I had almost no gas in the tank, and what I did have was 100 octane. I believe I set autotune to not go over 15.. and the weather was much cooler and drier than this time of the year. Hopefully we will be able to see.

It's supposed to cool off quite a bit tomorrow evening. So I am hoping we get some good weather conditions.

I have not seen too many 6MT numbers so I have no idea where I will be either.

I still have power out at the house.. and the whole house generator is running. I'm not sure if it's a good day to leave.

That storm was pretty crazy. I am leaning toward tomorrow instead. If you can't make it this week I understand. I will go again probably a couple times before the season is over. But it would be great to get more BMWs there. Especially since I have never raced mine and would appreciate input.
