The reason I asked (blatant plug ) is, I just happen to have set riding around in the trunk of my car. Bought them from another forum member before I decided to buy the complete Wheel/Tire/TPMS package. But after some additional thought, you're MY 08 ??. I'm not sure these will work for you. I think they changed the frequency used in MY 09 or 10.

yeah they did....the ones i need are RDE008 and i think yours are probably RDE012 or something like that (if yours were RDE008 i'd take them). cheapest price i could find was through E92-lighting...so i'm just gonna order through him today.

The only number I see close to that is a TSS "RE4D". It's a BMW branded TPMS sensor made by Beru. It's the 433MHz model.

ok thanks for checking. since these were for your 2011...i think it's safe to assume these wouldn't work for me since i'm 2008. they changed the sensors in later 2009 models from what i've read.

I wrapped mine with matte carbon fiber fabric...not really that difficult to do...just a little time consuming if you wanna do a good job...but looks great afterwards!

Where'd you get the fabric? I'm looking to cover up my interior trim as well. On a side note, Steelersfan...thanks for all the assitance getting me started on coding. I'm gonna give it a shot today and try to code the corner delete and a couple other things. I got good connectivity yesterday and made a back up of the CAS module, we will see how it goes today.

FML...so I just went back to this post because I wanted to see if this would be something I would want to code on my car and watched the vid again. I didn't realize the gas guage moving the first time. Obviously it's coded to read some other parameter (boost?). Does anyone know what it is?

Looks like the gauges are highjacked by a procede or JB4.

lol...not a bad thought...but the wrapping definitely takes a lot longer than washing the car!

its been a couple years since I did it...and it still looks great...but I think I ordered the fabric from PYSpeed. they have all different kinds/colors etc.

I think the body shop people recommend is stock or modified. I've never been but I've heard good things...and I'm pretty sure that's the name.

No kidding. I was just reading a thread about wrapping the whole exterior of the car. It looks amazing, but not sure if I'd be brave enough to do that to my car.

You can most likely take off all the panels and take it to a upholstery shop and they can do it for you. However I think they will charge you a pretty penny. I was given a quote to do a custom steering wheel wrap in suede for $450.

Hello I'm new to the site. Any place in 757, preferably in Chesapeake near Greenbrier, to have tires mounted on wheels and balanced correctly? I just purchased 19" Rohnana RC-5 in black...I dont want the average place like Merchants Tires scratching my wheels up during the install. I found a place but they want $40.00 per wheel. I'm willing to pay but always looking for competitive prices.
Also is there anyone in town that does exterior vinyl wrapping? I'm looking to get my window trims wrapped. I have the material already.
