Any link for that product?
I want to see the specs of it mate.

Do any of these cameras have build in batteries or do they have to be powered by the cigarette lighter / hard wired ?

If you are referring to roadhawak and black vue, then Black vue has a in-built battery.
In normal circumtances it is powerd by cigarette lighter / hard wired, but in the case of accident when/if the power is interupted, Black Vue still records with the help of the in-built battery.

Just found this: http://www.mi-witness.co.uk/
I've just emailed them to ask if it's fully Mac compatible and, if it is, this is the one I'll be getting.

What is special about this?
I can see that it can support the second camera. Any thing else which I missed and other products cannot do?

As I said, the possibility of Mac compatibility. Not an issue for Microsoft users, but significant to those of us who have Apple Macs.
Other benefits, as I see them, are UK design, phone/email contact direct to company base in Nottingham, plus a dedicated discussion forum: http://forum.mi-witness.co.uk/forum.php
Only had a brief look so far, but it looks as if there's a wealth of information.

Did you go for the BV and, if so, how are you getting on with it?

I remain undecided, but still favour the MI-Witness - a lot of info on their discussion forum.

I'm more concerned about fitting it so that every scroat in the area isn't tempted to smash your window to pinch it!
