E90 Subwoofer Spare Tire?
Has anyone every made a subwoofer box in the spare tire spot on the E90 sedan. Since its just an empty opening I figured it might be a good place for a fiberglass box...? Opinions?

I plan on doing it. I already have a similar setup on my e36 with 3x JL 10W6's in the spare tire wheel well along with amps, capactitors, etc.
It's not fiberglass though, it's MDF, leather covered, and a custom carpet with metal grill over the subs. Want to do the same on the e90. The Logic 7 bass isn't... well, isn't what I'm used to. |

I don't think there is enough room for subs in there tho... unless we can gut the plastic shit and make for more room in the trunk of the 335.

I could be wrong, but I think that "plastic" just covers up the metal body frame itself. The reason it's there is because of your muffler, it sits up inside the trunk.
