Back with brand new turbos! And still have my warrenty! But the car feels a little different. Smoother almost, clutch feel brand new for some reason. But I just found some clear coat scratches on the hood. Like a good amount of them. What to do? Call them back and complain?

Maybe we all should have a car wash day?

Its about the wax and what you use. Gotta get the good stuff, I'm seriosly thinking about asking my buddy to do his 8 hour detail on my car for $200.

Check out the detailing section of this thread, there's some good information there. I have had my car for two and a half years now and there's not one single swirl mark. Never, go through automatic car washes that aren't brushless! The easiest way to avoid them is simple. Don't let anyone else wash your car. Especially at the dealer. I worked at a dealer and the majority of the people who are going to wash it don't give two shits. I have been through one or two laser ones only to get salt off of my undercarriage. Order some microfibers and chemical guys wash and you'll be good to go. Not to mention either using a grit guard and/or the two bucket method.

As far as the dealer issue goes, once you leave the lot, it's not their problem. Unless you have some connections there I doubt their going to own up to anything. That's why you always have to check your car over as soon as they pull it up for you.

I have a BSM and Zymol Carbon works very well on it. Costs about 50 bucks for an 8 oz tub. Emmons coachworks in Williamsburg carries it and it can get to Richmond overnight with standard shipping.

The kid Brandon from our first meet with the Mystic Blue 330 ZHP does detailing work. I'm meeting with him this coming week to get a quote. I could let you all know and have him look at a couple of our cars.
