Like I said, from everything i've heard the 21lb is adequate for our cars, and mine is iDrive equipped and such so i'm not too worried.

I want to go straight pipe on mine with a resonator and hopefully it gives it a nice rumble but not excessively loud.. |

I'd look into a nice Borla resonator, they give a fantastic tone i've heard.

Lets dust this thread off....
I just shaved 30lbs off my car, I removed the OEM trunk and replaced it with the Exotics Tuning PreLCI Carbon Fiber trunk Its light enough to hold with your Pinky finger, Ill post some pics later today |

I noticed a big difference in my butt dyno when I went to Arc-8's. I shaved off some good weight, forget exactly how much now. I am running a square 235/40-18 on the 18x8.5 rims (during the summer). I wanted to get Conti DW's but they were impossible to find last spring. Went with Hankooks instead.

Gavin how much was the trunk? Just to get a price on weight saved vs cost. Patsfan how do you like the 18's? I have thought about going to an 18" rim but I feel like I would have issues when I buy my coilovers since they will drop it 1" minimum. Last edited by berserkerx; 03-29-2011 at 10:51 PM.. |

Not a fan of 19's because i think the tire is too low profile on the rims. Definitely don't worry about potholes as much with a smaller rim. |

Also, thank you kindly! I don't have any on hand, but I posted a couple pictures in a thread earlier this week. I shall dig it up.
