Unpainted/different color bumper ricer?

So I just got my rear bumper in the mail and it’s black(my car is white) would I get called a ricer for putting on the black bumper?

This is temporary, getting it painted in 1-2 weeks.

Why put it on before it's painted?

It's not really ricer, it's that the person can't afford to get it painted at the time.

I'd only do it if your current bumper is damaged so that it is unsafe or even more unsightly than the wrong color.

I'd just wait for it to be painted, picking up road grime and such will only make it more work for whomever is painting it.

if you want it to install it to replace a damaged bumper but cant afford paint for now, i suggest plasti dip. the plasti dip white isnt a perfect match but its close. i actually have my headlight washer plasti dipped white, you can't spot the color difference until you are 10 feet away. maybe this will buy you time to save up for paint later but while avoiding "ghetto"ing your car.

You should definitely put it on to verify that the fitment is good and then immediately take it off until it gets painted.
