I was going to write a post about giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I just did a search on shiv's username and he is posting like crazy over in the n54 forum.. He's actually active right now.

Now I'm really really pissed, what is this crap, you drop $800+ on a chip and he just completely abandons you? With absolutely no updates and no support when his product is causing problems on a $50k+ car. I wish I had the money right now to buy something else, I would hit the procede with a hammer and send it back to them.

I have in my emails and voicemails stated that I have an n55, maybe I should tell them I have an n54 and see what happens.

Most likely against forum rules but we should flood the n54 section with our questions, maybe then he will respond.

925-415-9148 Give them a call

i have had no issues with them. if they don't answer, i leave a voicemail and they call me back within a couple hours

I highly doubt they are going to avoid you because you own an n55. a business wont do that and its not like they have any reason to. Even if most their sales are for the n54, why would they avoid n55 owners. Remember, they sell alot more than just piggybacks.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I just called and someone actually picked up the phone...

He said that the n54 they have has been in the shop for the last few weeks getting a roll cage put in it and because of that they have been focusing on the n55 a lot. He said a lot of development has gone into a completely new firmware version and they should be releasing that 'shortly' (how many times have we heard that?).

He also mentioned that he would pass our complaints along to shiv about the complete and utter neglect they have shown towards this subform and get him to come over and give us an update.

I dont have any more fingers to cross at this point, I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

No, I was just pointing out that the vendors on this site aren't always a large scale operation and has someone dedicated to answer their emails.

Don't take my post out of context. here are 2 simple examples

e92 lighting = some guy with a good website with limited social, shipping, and support skills
LUX = some guy with an awesome product that is good with customer support with a so-so website

These small time tuners like Shiv and Terry are never gonna be able to compete to Cobb or other big tuners. For some reason these two guys dominate this industry. Cobb isnt wasting too much time on the n54/n55, they have gtr's to tune.
Piggybacks are caveman technology, flash is the way to go, but no company devotes the time to make a proper flash. Cobb did a good job on the n54, but it still isnt perfect.
Guys get a jb4, atleast Terry answers emails. Vishnu has In my opinion a better product, but nobody should deal with their horrible customer service, and no big company is gonna waste their time on the n55 to make a proper flash. Jb4 is the best option.

Hey guys, just wanted to reassure you that we are most definitely still in business. If you have any sort of questions or concerns please feel free to give us a call during normal business hours (M-F 8:30-4:30 PST) if you can leave a message we will DEFINITELY be able to give you a call back before the end of the work day, guaranteed. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of emails, it is sometime difficult for us to respond in a timely manner but rest assured, you have not been forgotten.

We have recently got out N55 back at Vishnu HQ after a considerable amount of downtime. Also, since the N54 VFF700 is currently being fitted with a roll cage we have shifted our focus to meeting your demands. With the newly serviced/updated DME we are currently developing an update that will curb most of the frustration mentioned above.

If any of you that are experiencing problems and are local to us, please feel free to schedule an appointment so we can do some investigation of the problems that may be occurring. We have thoroughly tested our shop car with no fault, so if anyone is experiencing ongoing problems with the PROcede tune, PLEASE contact us and we will make it worth your while.

We at Vishnu Performance appreciate your patience as we continue our research and development.

If you decide to stay with us, i can assure you that we are constantly working to push the state of the art of this platform and you can expect an update from shiv personally in the near future.

No offence Garrett, but that reply didn't really do much. These people want to hear when these updates are coming out, not if they're coming out. (any eta for the new firmware and maps??)
Even though I have an n54, and this doesn't affect me, I know where they're coming from, I had enough problems with vishnu myself. Great product, but definitely needs to step the customer service up a notch.

Why would you want to disable the front wheels?

Less drivetrain loss ( especially good for highway races)
No worries to breaking the transfer case with high power levels.
Lets face it: More fun( drift, burnout)

That's what I figured, but why not just get a rear wheel drive to start off. Even if you do disable the front wheels you still have all the weight.

Disappointing. There might not be better products out there but there is better customer service. Looking forward to see what cobb can do.

So I was hoping to hear back from Shiv soon on this matter. Hopefully, he will reassure the N55 community that he still cares about us and is still developing our the N55 platform. He seems to be too busy to post in our N55 subforum but it hasn't stopped him from posting in the N54 subforum.

Check out this thread from the N54 subforum:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=755867

This thread was started today and Shiv, himself, has posted twice in it already. There has been several threads on the N55 subforum specifically calling out Vishnu and Shiv and months later, still no response from him.

I don't see why everyone is bitching or waiting or demanding a tune for N55 from vendors who work on N54 platform. If vendors choose to work on N54 and not N55, that is their choice. If there is delay, just wait. Really, they can work at their own pace. If you don't have something you like or want, just go elsewhere! Unless you have made an advance purchase, and item not delivered, than please bitch!

Why wait and sit around. There are other options out there. If you feel left in the cold, move on. Sell the tune on this site and get over it.

I should create a handheld flash tuning device for the N55 that reads codes, datalogs, records performance and gets lifetime map updates! I'd be a millionaire...

Let's just start posting all our n55 questions on the n54 forum....maybe Shiv will see them.

I was one of the first n55 Proceed owners (v4).... By the time Vishnu gets their act together, my lease will be up....
