I just thought I'd share my bad day...

So I was filling up at the gas station and while putting the fuel nozzle into the filler neck... I found that I was attacked by a tiny ice cream scooper!!!

And i don't recall curbing my wheel... EVER!!! I would have felt that bump...
the divot is about 1/4 inch deep and I have no idea where I was attacked by a belt sander...

apologies for the crappy iphone pic...

I should be able to get it fixed quite easily. And it doesn't hurt that the wheel refinisher we use at the shop has fixed quite a few really messed up BMW and Mercedes wheels I thought would just become scrap metal. So it should be a 24hr turn around once I get my spare on and dis-mount my tire. Thank gawd it was the stock boat anchors, and not a nice new set of Fikse's I've had my eye on...

OUCH sorry to see that happen. I rubbed both my rear wheels only a minute apart from each other after pampering them for so long. Man was I pissed when it happened couldn't help but laugh at myself for being an idiot. Oh well sooner or later the car and it's wheels will be gone. Greener pastures sometime soon i hope.
Put a band aid for the ouch ouch!

That's a bummer. I noticed some curb rash on my wheels recently, and just like you, I don't remember hitting any curbs!

Damn... That sucks too! I'm with Blake, road gremlins that decide to gnaw on your wheels for the hell of it!
