Who's ready for the snow?

Welp, my car is still lowered in 19s with summer tires. Anyone else get caught up not expecting so much snow to come down/stick today?

Careful about applying plastidip in the cold. I heard it doesn't coat/apply well at low temps.

gonna be in the garage with the torpedo heater making it nice at warm (over 75) before any dipping occurs. and it will be off while dipping.

My car is also in the garage.........at Oakes Detail in West Chester, PA. Haha. Car should be some getting a full detail by the end of tomorrow. Hope it warms up and clears up Friday or Saturday so I can bring it home as clean as possible so it can hibernate in my garage for the winter.

Good luck everyone with the summer tires and being lowered. Hopefully it doesn't get too bad.

Wish I had a garage

I'm probably gonna have to buy my Blizzaks sooner than expected. I was contempleting snow tires vs. buying a beater, but by all accounts the Blizzaks will get the job done. Anticipating probably dropping down to a stock tune though.

I have stock 18's with barely used all season run flats if anyone wants them, I'll let them go cheap! Fits 335's. Pm me....

I think we will have a light winter for snow, despite this early storm

I'm sill on my summer tires and the drive was fine maybe cause I'm x drive.. Plus traffic was at a standstill on gcp eastbound.. Took me 3 hrs to get home from Astoria.. The worst part of all was that the fucking plow and salt truck was on my right and since there was traffic the freaking salt kept hitting my passenger side...fml

Also on DWS on stock 18's and RWD. I'm in shock I made it home. I live upstate and believe it or not the combination of the power I had to make it through thick snow and the DWS's I was powering up hills that trucks and FWD cars couldn't do. Granted I was legit sideways the whole time climbing hills I'm still in shock I made it!

Front: 225/40ZR18
Rear: 255/35ZR18

I got lucky and threw my winters on last night just in time. I kept debating wether or not to throw them on last night since this weekend is supposed to get warm but better safe then sorry. Other than not liking the blacked out look, they're performing great (Blizzak lm-60)

I was contemplating whether i should put the winter tires on or not. I carpool anyway so I only drive the car during the weekends, so no big deal for me. It's gonna be around 50-60 degrees so I can hold off until a later date when it's going to be consistently colder.

For now it's in the garage nice and warm with a full tank of 93. No compaints.

Yep, that's precisely what I run on stock 18's. No issues.

I had DWS's on my STi and absolutely loved them. Thinking of going that route again.

Drove from brooklyn to queens with PS2's that have barely 1/4 inch thread left on rear wheels. It was very tricky accelerating off a stop. It was crazy!!!!
