I'm jumping into this a bit late, but just wanted to show the MRR GT8's on General G-Max's. I did the staggered 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears for the summer but kept my stock 17's on run-flats for the winter. Check out my garage for pics.
Good luck with your new tires and wheels!

When I tried to get everything installed last night the installer said that the TPMS stems were too short and wouldn't work with the 19" wheels.

I purchased the TPMS package from Tirerack with the new 19" tires, so I am not sure why they were too short.

Hopefully Gary at Tirerack will get this straightened out quickly and the install can take place early next week.

After getting longer valve stems from getbmwparts.com I was able to have the tires and sensors installed on the wheels yesterday.

Initial impressions are very positive. Tons more grip and the car feels significantly more stable on curves and corners. Ride is in no way harsh or too firm.

I'll try and snap a fee pics and get them posted in the next few days.

There is absolutely no rubbing with the stock sport suspension.

Below are a few pictures I quickly took after getting back from Easter down in NY.

I'll try and get some better ones later in the week.

You aren't the first person to ask if it was flat or low on air.

TPMS says it is fine and I just went out and measured it and it is properly inflated.

This thread has inspired me to buy some 230's for our E90 Xdrive. Hopefully next week, I'll be able to post some photos.
