Intro
Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself after picking up a 335i last week. I've been on the forums for a few months doing research, asking a few questions and looking for the perfect car to be my first BMW. A long time ago I was big into the 240sx scene, even started up my own motor swap company (Base4d) for a little while doing SR swaps for friends and locals around this area. I plan to lurk on here for a good while just learning as much as I can about the N54. I'm excited to be finally getting back into a car with boost!! Not sure if I ever plan to mod this car (I've said that before :P) But for now I want to spend some good quality time learning the car and the motor before I make any decisions. For fun, here's a few pictures of the 240's I've owned over the years. RIP   Totaled after some lady decided to back into my parked car in her SUV. Ended up selling the motor for more than I paid for the car lol  My 2nd 240  Engine bay shot - I later removed all those stickers, what was I thinking?? Thanks everyone!
Yeah this is the first BMW I've owned, it's certainly different than all the JDM cars I've driven over the years. I'd like to make it to one of the meets at some point but I work 7 days a week so time is scarce, but I'll certainly be keeping tabs on whats going on. Is it bad that I'm already trying to figure out whether I should go OEM Aero lip or Mtech front/rear? Maybe a Cob AP in there for good measure  |
