MHD stage 1 log help: Weird 5th gear
Looking at my logs (135i E88 N54 AT - Stock), everything seems fine except on 5th gear.
The map is Stage 1 5.1 93. I've had "torque limit active 4" various times only in 5th and in this log a lot of time correction. When it goes into 5th, something always goes weird. http://datazap.me/u/pja135i/no-rain-....57&tmax=23.74 Can anyone tell me if something's wrong? I'm trying to learn this stuff but can't figure out what's happening... |

Post a link to the specific log. Also, its not recommended to do partial throttle logs, especially in 5th gear. Throttle wide open at over 70% at least all the way through, you don’t want to see timing correction channels during a single gear pull correcting by more than -3.x across 3 or more consecutive cylinders.

Here are some examples of what I was saying:
-WOT in 5th: Torque limit active. http://datazap.me/u/pja135i/5th-gear?log=0&data=4-22 -3rd, 4th and 5th, WOT: Torque limit and timing correction in 5th: http://datazap.me/u/pja135i/no-rain-...og=0&data=4-15 - 5th WOT into 6th : Again, Torque limit in 5th http://datazap.me/u/pja135i/5th-and-...og=2&data=4-15 Never seen this in any other gear. Tested 6th gear a short time and nothing strange there: http://datazap.me/u/pja135i/5th-and-...og=0&data=4-15 I'm clueless. I get either torque limit, timing correction (higher IAT), or both in 5th gear... |
