Just wondering if adjustments are made..or if the knock sensor will be less engaged and produce more power. Pls explain...thanks.

It will produce more power. Usually around 10-15whp more by just adding 100oct with no other other changes.

Interesting. Am I correct that "with no other changes" means you are assuming the standard 91-93 octane map, and stating 10-15 whp? I would just think that with the dedicated 100 octane map, it'd do significantly better than 10-15 hp. Well, at least it'd better for $7 a gallon

Yep... no other changes. Using the same 91-93oct map. It may do a bit more than 10-15whp depending on conditions.

I "tested" this last month, see my results at:

Keep in mind, I just added a couple gallons 100 Octane to the 91 Octane and within minutes got the improved results. A bit more time (actual drive time, not dyno time) probably would yield a few more ponies.

Now, I haven't tested a 93 Octane pump gas, then pour in 100 Octane to see if the PROcede adjusts even more. But according to Shiv the PROcede will only adjust up to 93 Octane, so adding 100 Octane into a tank that's already pure 93 Octane might do very little.

West convina and chino hills are far away from me. I benifit more paying the 10 dollars a gallon lol.

Yup. I have a buddy that uses 100 in his evo only. He tells me all the time about the 5.99 a gallon down in HB but i keep forgetting to ask him where in HB.
