Me too! I am almost afraid to wash the car because I don't wanna get swirls. Because of my hesitation, I always spend more than 2 hours washing my car ! It's good quality time but, DAMN, it's a lot of time to just wash a car. There's gotta be something easier.

I wish there was a $1 brushless car wash that I could go to. I'd go there everyday so that there isn't any dust build-up on my car. But then I'd worry about water spots since the carwashes usually have bad drying blowers. I'm just so anal about my car; haha, it makes everyone around me sick.

Any more pictures of Mystic Blue with tinting? Thinking of tinting, would love to see what it looks like on a 325 (I don't have the chrome trim around the windows of the 330, and that makes it hard to tell what its going to look like)

Please state what percent, and what brand of tinting you have

Thanks ahead of time

Hello all,

Considering going for Mystic Blue / Terra. Seems to be a very unique choice, is this because this combination does not look good IRL? From pictures, seems to look stunning!

Would anthracite headlining suit above combo better than standard headlining?

All opinions welcome.

Cheers

Thanks for reply.

You say you saw a 5 series MB / Terra, but from what I gather, Terra interior is not available on 5 series?

Wow, I thought that was terra. Looked at bmwusa, turns out it must have been "Auburn". In any case, I have seen mystic blue, and I have seen terra interiors (test drove terra with aluminum), IMO, they would look incredible together.. It would be very unique, and I'm sure everyone (including yourself) would like it a lot.. Like I said if my wallet was bigger I would have got this combination, I think it would look incredible..

alright someone must help me with these swirls...i came out of a car wash and in the sun AND shade the car looks like someone took a white pen and ran lines all over the place.

http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bi...vwcatalog=rodi

Has anyone tried any of those products and can recommend them?

turtle wax and 3m products are usually trustable?

What kind of a car wash did you go through? I hope it was a brushless one! It sounds to me that it may not have been one.

I'm pretty positive it was brushless but i think afterwards, the people wiping down with the towels may have scrubbed too hard. Oh well not their fault, i should of said something before hand and ive never had any problems on my previous tit. silver. I know i'm being anal but in certain angles and lights the car looks like it was painted in the late 80's. The white streaks just jump out. More so actually in the shade.

I went and bought turtle wax sratch and swirl remover and applied it with a special sponge that won't leave swirls. Although it did not get the major ones out, i was pleasantly surprised. It really worked. A lot of the swirls really did disappear. Now i'll get the zaino, maybe that'll take care of the big stuff. I highly recommend the turtle wax though for a cheap around the garage solution.

Picked up April 26th. Real nice and smooth car. Drove it from Westminster to San Francisco two days after picking up and the trip was so nice. Ive been busy enjoying the car and never had time to post and Ive already put 1400+ miles in the car.

Nice pics of the Mystic Blue!!! I kept looking at the car thinking what's different I like it, it was the clear corners. They look so much better without the orange reflectors!!

Nice car!!!
