Sounds achieveable if you can hook..its tough to get traction with street tires at the track, but it is possible! I say you'll run anywhere from a 12.5-13.3.
What octane are you gonna be running on anyway ? |

Why are still on 1.2? But your goals are achievable I hit a 12.7 on map 6 on 19s with nothing but the jb3 1.22.

all depends on the launch and track conditions.
my guess, 12.84 if you hook I hit a 12.89 on the stock RFT w a MT w/ just V1.47 procede which was very weak up top compared to the new tunes....but that was w/ a hell of a luanch, got lucky. just drive around the water box, scrub off the tires w a quick launch, then rev it around 2200-2600rpms bouncing a bit, slip the clutch and keep the revs up...hope you dont blow the tires off in 1st once you spool fully (might have to peddle modulate) and then shift clean into 2nd. or buy an auto and stare at the tree like a mindless monkey and just stomp on it

I ran 12.61 on 19'' 275 generals...dude no matter what anyone says these tires are GOOOOOOD!!!!! I ran 13 on GoodYear eagle F1s (265 rear) ... I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ELSE BUT THESE PERIOD!!! I've also driven on michelin pilot sports, which were ok.... I was blown away by Generals performance yesterday... Maybe it's the width...a few times I could barely do a proper warmup...

Considering a stock car with only SSTT and CDV on 93 (otherwise completely stock, yes that includes run-flats) can run 12.9 @ 107 (got the T-shirt) then with those mods anything higher than 12.5 or slower than 114 I would consider driver error

well fully catless on procede stg 3 with an intercooler 60% pump 94 octane, 40% race 110 octane race gas, i'm doing the following:
1) Set procede map user torque to 1st gear @ 50%, 2nd gear @ 75% 2) When on track, warm up the tires a bit. I also took out some air from them (maybe they were at 31-32psi rear) 3) When lined up, get RPM up to about 3500 and feather it there until GREEN and then, DON'T WORRY ABOUT YOUR REACTION TIME, let the RPM start falling a bit from there, talking split second time here, let go of the clutch and hit the throttle. 4) For best time I got I shifted at almost redline (~6800-6900rpm). I had about 10 runs that day and I tried all kinds of different shift points, it just doesn't cut it with my setup otherwise. That was good for a 12.61 @110mph. Prior to putting race gas in that day, best I ran was 12.9. I think with an ever better launch I could get it down to 12.2-12.3 with these tires. On drag radials, 17'' rims and race gas only, probably a 12.0 or even a high 11. |
