Has anyone replaced this with the modified one that juiced tuning sell.. Is it worth doing. Any draw backs or is it all good... Thanks.

I replaced my CDV with oem one from e92 M3.

Worth while doing, makes clutch action much more user friendly.

I would just mod it yourself.

The valve has a small plastic plug in it with a tiny hole in the middle to restrict the flow of fluid.
Take the valve out, push that plastic piece out and put the valve back in.

I used a mole grip to clamp the hose just in front of the valve to stop any fluid being lost.

Took me around 20 mins from start to finish and didn't bother bleeding the system either.

Made a massive difference to overall driving enjoyment.

Then had the new clutch and flywheel fitted as well and now actually enjoying the manual. Hated it at first and was getting trade in figures.

Makes the clutch action much better, more like a 'normal' car in fact.

When you have the CDV out just push out the one way valve peice with a small allen key or similar.

If you want to do it in advance, by a standard one from BMW for about £5 and mod it yourself.

Guys, for those who don't like DIY then we have the modified CDV in stock

I had it done during a service at my local indi, think he just added half hour labour on for doing it.

He gave me the part back, said he just removed the valve and joined the hose directly with no issues.

If you do let air into the system you need a pressure bleeder so be careful.

You do NOT need a pressure bleeder.

There is plenty of head from the reservoir too, pressurising it just makes it a little quicker and then a one man job that is all.

If it isnt a covert mod (waranty) then I would just remove it and do as above - the hose fits right onto the slave cylinder and put the circlip back in.

However you do it you WILL get air in there somewhere so bleed it anyhow - only takes a minute.
