Rear Tires for E92 Please help me decide

Replacing OEM Bridgestone RFT's

Anyone have experience with Pilot Sport 3 on a 335i?

I'm trying to decide if I go with PS2 RFT or Pilot Sport 3 non-RFT which are available.

I could not locate the Super Sport in Greece unfortunately. I even contacted Michelen headquarters in Greece.

I'm a little hesitant to go non RFT as I live in Greece and although the roads are shitty and RFT get on my nerves in every pot hole i hit...the fear of being stuck in some remote, shitty , small road, needing a flat bed scares me off....

Also, my front tires have plenty of thread on them....If I leave them on what are your thoughts on having bridgestone RFT's up front and not RFT in the back??

Also. I do not do track days. I do go fast in the twisties which we have plenty around here... Most of my miles are a 10 minute commute back and forth to work though.

Lastly, I'm having an independant shop install these. Do I need to order anything for TPM? will I need new sensors ? Does my BMW dealer need to do any programming?

Thanks for the input.

PS: I had asked this questions hijacking someone elses post and got no reply's I hope someone will chime in with their experience as I have my car immobilized until i make a decision.

if i were u, id just swap out all four to non-rft's and get a spare kit if ur worried about being stranded. if ur keeping the front rft's, then replace the rears with matching rft's.

i personally switched to all non-rft's and no spare kit lol

Many people are switching to non-RFTs and are happy with the results. I don't think you should be deterred from going that route simply because you run the risk of getting a flat. Additionally, I would not mix two different tires (whether they are both RFTs, or different brands). If you're going to get new tires, you should replace all four. Lastly, if your TPMs are in good condition, you should be able to reuse them.
