Brake Sensor Issue- replace pads
I recently in the last 2-3 months replaced my pads and bought BMW Sensors from the dealer. I replaced the pads, changed the sensors and reset the service light. Everything was going great.
Then yesterday, after i got out of class i turned on my car and I got a message saying both front and rear pads need to be replaced and I got the red warning light w/ car on a lift. and the Bake Light stays on in red. I did a search on here and people say, only way to get rid of it is to replace the sensors or use a BT scan tool. Also saw a post saying someone had this happen to them when it was raining hard. Seems kind of odd considering the pads and sensors are only 3 months old. Anyone else find a work around or run into this issue? I tried to clear the codes using my JB4 but that didn't work. Service warning shows just like this:

We've previously encountered this issue. After replacing the sensors, the fault remained. There is an SIB pertaining to this, requiring to reprogram the vehicle then replace DSC module if programming is unsuccessful. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to contact us.

Thanks for the heads up i was able to find the following SIB:
SIB 34 02 08 "Erroneous Brake Pad Replacement Message" i see people are able to get around this by just using a BT tool. I'm going to wait a couple of days see if it goes away. I'm also considering ordering a set of cheap sensors online to see if that fixes the issue before bringing it in.

OK update, looks like the system was throwing false negatives. I jacked up the car today and noticed that the sensors were still brand new, I tried deleting codes via JB4 but that did not work.
So, I had to go into the service menu and reset the Front and Rear services. Once i did that the message went away but my brake light remained red in the dash, so i turned off the car, and turned it back on and that resolved all the issues. I don't know if this is temporary, we'll see.
