Washer fluid leak at rear of car?

All,
I have developed a small leak outside of the car. It has a reddish tint and smells like washer fluid. What threw me was the leak is right in front of the rear passenger tire. I know the washer fluid reservoir is behind the front passenger tire.

I am assuming this leak is so minor that it has been following gravity along the underside of my car and working its way down to the rear(my garage is level). It was leaking where I expected(behind passenger front wheel) when I was parked at my office on a forward slope.

I am fairly confident it is washer fluid as my coolant/brake fluid are both yellowish. Can't think of any other fluids it could be. I also checked drain holes by sunroof and under the hood. Both bone dry so I doubt a drain hole is plugged. Also bone dry in trunk by battery. No leaks inside the car either.

Any other ideas/suggestions before I tackle getting to the washer fluid reservoir?
Thanks

Coolant in these cars I thought was blueish.

You might refill, don't use your washers and see if the level drops... or check your coolant level.

Brake fluid is hydraulic fluid, which is a type of oil, not water based. Power steering is also hydraulic fluid, and oil based.

If the leak persists, you will eventually get a low washer fluid warning on your dash. The leak is usually the pump seal, not the washer reservoir. When you're fairly sure it is the washer pump that is leaking, buy the grommet that the pump is mounted on. Since you have to replace the pump to fix the leak, replace the grommet at the same time.

If this is indeed washer fluid, then there is nothing unusual in it leaking near the rear tire. The washer fluid leaks into your side skirt (or rocker panel, whatever is the best term for it), runs along it to the rear and dumps there. The skirt panel acts as a gutter.

Anyone who does washer pump replacement and has to drain their washer fluid from the tank, usually observes the same effect if some fluid accidentally sprays into the side skirt area. Of course, it requires a bit of gradient descending towards the rear.
