So, this is the xi suspension upgrade path. Thoughts?

Stage 1:

-H&R or KW Coilovers

or

-Eibach or H&R springs with Konis in the rear. (this is what dinan does, front struts remain the same)

Stage 2:

Front and rear sways bars, rear chassis brace, front strut brace, m3 parts. (not sure which are most valuable, useless, etc)

If this is truly the case, then the BMW performance springs would make this list as well. I believe they'd give you a lower drop than the ZSP springs.

I believe the performance springs are also made by eibach.
I would just go with Eibach springs for now, and then purchase adjustable shocks when they are released.

The xi apparently has a 15mm rear sway unlike the i which has a 13mm. I was wondering if I should not get a UUC or M3 rear sway now since the install is long and hard.

For my list of stage 2 (Front and rear sways bars, rear chassis brace, front strut brace, m3 parts) is there anything that should NOT be added. Since there is a limited number of xi parts, there has to be a perfect list of what to add or not add.

Really? Some of that stuff isnt so expensive. A bunch of m3 stuff with springs is way less then coilovers. Whats the negatives to adding the m3 stuff?

cause the m3 rear suspension is engineered for a lighter weight rear wheel drive car.

Not entirely related, but the M3 front and rear bushings cannot fit onto the UUC front and rear sway bars.

I have heard KW V1s fit the XIs, but the KW website says only V3s. I have talked to a guy saying he had V1s, but all others say V3s.

What the hell? Can anyone straighten it out for me?

Wink bmw dealer said.........

BMW Performance Springs... not for 335i, 335xi...
there aren't much options for E90-335xi-09.... I checked daily on the web, BMW specialist....
Seems, Dinan S-pack, or suspension system is the $$ way but not the muffler, many feel like its like made in China quality!!

KW-V3, UCC front and rear sway bars, better way then Dinan's value!
